Are you ready to build apps for the biggest sporting events worldwide? Then read on quickly! As an Android Developer, you also help build the largest online sports community together with our partners. We are a young and enthusiastic team who together create innovative platforms for sports federations, governments, municipalities and international sporting events.

About Sportunity

At Sportunity we are constantly creating and optimizing our platforms. Everything is focused on the big goal, to connect the athlete who loves sports. We do this by creating platforms together with sport federations, governments, municipalities and, since last year, also for the largest sporting events worldwide. With our apps we serve millions of people during the Hong Kong marathon, Houston marathon, the Zevenheuvelenloop and many more great events.

What qualities are we looking for?

Together with the other Android developer in the team you are responsible for the development and maintenance of our sports applications. You have the gift of converting the sleek and functional design into a native app. In addition, you are constantly improving the user-friendliness and you are working on new cool features.

As an Android developer of Sportunity you have…

  • experience building native apps.
  • experience with the Java and/or Kotlin language.
  • the urge to always stay ahead regarding to the latest technologies.
  • a great sense of responsibility.
  • enthusiasm in thinking along with the development process.

 

This is what a day of the week might look like:

09:00 – Stand up
09:15 – Working on user stories
12:00 – Join us for a catered lunch
13:00 – Put new features live!
15:00 – Time for a game! Challenge your colleague to a game of table tennis or darts
17:30 – Shut down laptop
